Die aus dem englischen Leeds stammende und seit 2003 aktive Rockband um Frontmann Ricky Wilson schrieb in ihrer nunmehr 20 Jahre umfassenden Bandgeschichte zahlreiche Hits. Unter anderem sicherte sich das Quintett mit Songs wie “Ruby”, “I predict a riot” und “Oh my god” ihren Platz im Geschichtsbuch der britischen Musik, dem sie nun das nächste Kapitel hinzufügen.
Mit “Jealousy” legt die Band, die Fans in einem Atemzug mit UK-Größen wie Oasis, Blur, Kasabian oder auch Franz Ferdinand sowie The Fratellis und Editors nennen, eine moderne Rocknummer vor, die sowohl das junge, tanzbegeisterte Publikum anspricht, als auch Fans der ersten Stunde aus den Sesseln fegt. “We’ve spent the last 20 years making tunes, some have been hits, some have been the opposite of hits.
